To the family of Dot Best, please know that you have my sincere sympathy and condolences on the loss of your mother. We have known your mother since I was a baby My great grandmother Margaret rented a room in your mothers house, top floor, when we moved her from Clearfield to be with family in Knox as she got older. We wanted her to feel some independence and your mom's house was 3 hours from her daughters house (my grams house) and 3 houses up from my mothers house (her granddaughter). I have very found memories of the house going to see my great grand and getting her for family outings. She was a tall statuesque lady and stood tall and proud. Your mother was so nice to our family and to my great grand during that time. I was about 5-6 years old and she would just be so nice to all of us children and joke and talk with us when we came over to see Greatgrand. I have always remembered your mother for the love and care she took of my great grand. My great grand stayed there for several years at your mom's house and then we moved her out to her own trailer out on rt 338. Your moms house allowed my very proud great grand to have some independence during a very difficult time of moving from Clearfield to Knox to be closer to her daughter, but without living with her daughter (my grandmother Josephine). Your mother gave her dignity and company and someone to chat with and someone to challenge things with. My family was always so grateful to Dottie for what she did for our family during that time. We always had love in our heart for her and your family God bless Dottie. She was the sweetest friend anyone could ever ask for. God Bless your family in your time of need.

Those we love don't go away, they walk beside us every day, unseen, unheard, but always near. Still loved, still missed and very dear.
