Lorraine Roberge, of Knox, died peacefully on Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2016. She was the beloved mother, sister, grandmother, family and friend to many.

     Lorraine, born August 31, 1926, is survived by a large loving family including siblings Ida Roberge of Watervliet, NY, Richard (Pearl) Roberge of Illinois, Clarence (Jean) Roberge of Florida, and Louis (Marge) Roberge of Clifton Park, NY; three daughters, Donna Conlin (Dan Colwell) of Knox, Tamara (Scott) Metzler of East Nassau, NY, and Sharyl Stanley of Ballston Spa, NY.  She is predeceased by her husband William Tenczar, and children William, Darlene, and Ronald (Dorene) Tenczar. In addition, she leaves behind seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

     Lorraine was a 1944 graduate of the Holy Oak High School in Holy Oak Massachusetts.

     She was an inspiration to many people in the 90 wonderful years that she blessed us with her presence.  The family wishes to express their gratitude for all the condolences and generosity during this very difficult time.

     A private service will be held locally in Knox for close family/friends and will be followed by a memorial service this spring in the Albany, NY – Lorraine’s home for most of her life.
