Mary Magagnotti, age 87, of Seminole, passed away early Tuesday morning, May 17, 2016 at her home following an illness.
Born March 13, 1929 in Seminole, Armstrong County, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Pearl Nicolli Salvadori.
She married Aldo Magagnotti on April 29, 1949 and he preceded her in death on July 3, 1992.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in New Bethlehem and the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her three children, Tom Magagnotti of Seminole, Jackie Crissman and husband, Jim, of Rimersburg and Roxanne Snyder of Oak Ridge; seven grandchildren: Earth Donato of New Bethlehem; Tracie Leshock Bowser and husband, Todd, of Kittanning; Ron Hannah and wife, Susie, also of Kittanning; MeMe Hannah of Show Low, Arizona; Kaci Hinderliter and husband, Rick, of Seminole; Peter Magagnotti and Jason Magagnotti and wife, Salina, all of Dover, Delaware; nine great grandchildren: Noah, Caden, Trista, Cole, Jacob, Brooke, Tara, Sophia and Jordan.
Mary is also survived by one sister, Beatrice Vicini of Rural Valley and two brothers; Joseph Salvadori of Youngstown, Ohio and Richard Salvadori of Seminole.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a daughter, Diane Leshock; two brothers, Benjamin and Vincent Salvadori; daughter-in-law, Pam Magagnotti and son-in-law, Fud Snyder.
Family and friends will be received from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service Chapel, 233 Penn Street, New Bethlehem.
A vigil service will be held at 12:30 Wednesday in the funeral home chapel.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, May 19, 2016 at the St. Charles Catholic Church, 201 Washington Street, New Bethlehem with Father Samuel Bungo serving as celebrant.
Interment will follow at the St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in New Bethlehem.
