Mildred C. Ashbaugh, age 74, of Lamartine, passed away early Friday morning, September 15, 2017 at the Clarion Hospital.

     Born October 1, 1942 in West Monterey, she was a daughter of the late Samuel C. and Hazel I. McFadden Holliday.

    She married Darrel L. Ashbaugh on October 27, 1961 and he survives.

     Mildred enjoyed crocheting, cooking and baking, reading and gardening.

     In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son:  Mark A. Ashbaugh and wife, Tammy, of Eau Claire; three daughters:  Julie Ann Friedly and her husband, Rob, of New Bethlehem; Darla L. Lominski and her husband, John, of Eau Claire and Marsha L. Shearer of Knox; eight grandchildren:  Josh, Robbie, Kody, Jamie, Alyssa, Ty, Teila and Michael and five great grandchildren:  Faith, Atticus, Blaise, Harper and Taelyn.

     Mildred is also survived by her brothers and sisters:  Donald Holliday and his wife, Mary Jane, of Rockland; Randy Holliday and his wife, Karen, of Brookville; Leda Mae Pangallo and her husband, Richard, of Brookville; Marie Myers and her husband, Jerry, of Brookville and Jean Hannold and her husband, Larry, of Summerville.

   In addition to her parents, Mildred was preceded in death by three sisters: Ethel, Carol and Beth and four brothers:  John, Larry, Archie and Bob.

      Family and friends will be received from 1-3 p.m. Monday, September 18, 2017 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.

     Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, in the funeral home, with Reverend Karen Parsh officiating.

     Interment will follow in the St. Paul’s Union Cemetery in Knox.
