Betty J. Beck, age 84, of Knox, passed away Wednesday morning, March 7, 2018 at Shippenville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born January 8, 1934 in Knox, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Jennie Call Claypool.
She married William Charles Beck and he preceded her in death on January 15, 1987.
Betty was a member of the Independent Assembly of God Church in Knox and worked in the kitchen at Johnny Garneau’s Restaurant in Strattanville.
She loved to plastic canvas and draw.
Betty is survived by a son and daughter: Robert W. Beck of Knox, and Marcia Beck of Shippenville; one grandson: Shawn P. Beck; two step granddaughters: Megan R. Holley and Stacey L. McCauley; six great grandchildren: Logan, Kenton, Brian, Jackob, Joshua and Jayson.
She is also survived by a brother, Les Claypool of New York and two sisters: Lila Kulp of Knox and Edith Barty of Clarion.
Family and friends will be received from 4-6 p.m. Saturday, March 10, 2018 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.
Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Tony Collura officiating.
Interment will take place in the Providence Cemetery in Beaver Township, Clarion County.
