Beverly A. Osberg, age 89, of Knox, passed away peacefully at her home early Thursday morning, December 21, 2017.

     Born September 26, 1928 in Monroe, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Stuart L. and Lucille Prochnow Pennington.

     Beverly married Dr. Richard L. Osberg on September 2, 1950 and the couple celebrated 60 years of marriage before his passing on September 3, 2010.

     She was a graduate of Huntington University in Huntington, Indiana, received her master’s degree from Indiana University and taught elementary school in the states of Ohio, Illinois and Indiana.

     Beverly served as a pastor’s wife in Evangelical Churches in Ohio, Illinois and Indiana.

     She moved from Ft. Myers, Florida to the Knox area in 2013 and was a member of the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church in Ninevah , where she enjoyed the Ladies Sunday school class.

    Beverly was an avid reader and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

     She is survived by two sons:  Richard L. Osberg, Jr. and his wife, Debra L., of Knox and Dennis L. Osberg and his wife, Debra A., of Littleton, Colorado.

    Beverly is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren: Rick and Deb’s children: Richard L. Osberg, III (Amanda); Brian Osberg (Sarah); Jennifer Williams(Matthew); Bradley Osberg (Emily) and Rick and Deb’s grandchildren: Matthew Williams, Jr., Jessalynn Williams, Winnie Osberg and Nancy Osberg; Dennis and Deb’s children:  Eric Osberg (Beth); Graham Osberg and Amanda Osberg, and Dennis and Deb’s grandchildren: Samson Osberg, Emery Osberg, Jonas Osberg and Cecclia Osberg.

     Family and friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2017 in the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, 2561 Grace Church Road, Knox, with Reverend Richard Osberg, Beverly’s son and pastor at Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, officiating.

     Interment will take place in the Coral Ridge Cemetery, Cape Coral, Florida.

     Memorial contributions may be given in the name of Beverly A. Osberg to the Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, 2561 Grace Church Road, Knox, PA  16232
