Carol Lee Hart, age 72, of Cranberry, passed away Sunday evening, July 16, 2017 at her home, following an illness.

     Born September 4, 1944 in Oil City, she was the daughter of Lois M.  Rinker Kellogg of Knox and the late James R. Kellogg.

     She was a graduate of Keystone High School.

     Carol married John Barry Hart on October 12, 1963 and he survives.

    She was a member of the Faith Church of the Nazarene in Kossuth for over 35 years and was a Sunday School teacher and Missionary Leader. 

     Carol was a homemaker who loved her church, gardening, canning, working in her flower beds and being with family and church friends. She was extremely fond of her little green push mower.

     She is survived by her mother, husband and son, John Barry Hart, Jr. of Seneca.

     Carol is also survived by her brother, James A. Kellogg and his wife, Kay, of Shippenville and numerous nieces and nephews.

     In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her grandparents.

    Family and friends will be received from 5-7p.m. Wednesday, July 19, 2017 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.

    Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with Pastor Robert Thomas, pastor of the Faith Church of the Nazarene, officiating.

    Interment will take place in the Rockland Cemetery, Venango County.
