Charles Richard (Chuck) Raybuck

     Charles Richard “Chuck” Raybuck, age 94, of New Bethlehem, passed away Friday afternoon, May 12, 2017 at the Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Sligo, following an illness.

     Born August 16, 1922 in Fairmount City, he was a son of the late Harry and Pearl Dinger Raybuck.

     He married Betty Ilene Williams on September 17, 1948 and she preceded him in death on March 1, 2017.

     Chuck was a truck driver and a member of the First Baptist Church of New Bethlehem.

    In his younger years, he played the violin and played in a band.

     Survivors include two brothers:  William Raybuck of Frogtown and George Raybuck of North Carolina; two sisters-in-law:  Jean Williams of New Bethlehem and Jeanne Raybuck of Frogtown.

    Chuck is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

    In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two brothers:  John and Jack Raybuck; two sisters: Jennie Hetrick and Helen Filetti; three sisters-in-law:  Bernadine Raybuck, Joanne Raybuck and Ethel Raybuck and two brothers-in-law, Charles Hetrick and Marion Filetti.

    Chuck was also preceded in death by two nephews, Gary Raybuck and Ronald Hetrick and a great niece, Kelley Raybuck.

     Family and friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service chapel, 233 Penn Street, New Bethlehem.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017 in the funeral home chapel, with the Reverend Ronald Kunselman, pastor of the First Baptist Church of New Bethlehem, officiating.

     Interment will follow in the New Bethlehem Cemetery.
