Ella H. "Martha" (Hurrelbrink) Eiseman

     Ella H. “Martha” Eiseman, age 77 of Knox, passed away Sunday evening, April 28, 2019 at the Clarion Hospital from injuries she sustained in an accidental fire.

     Born May 4, 1941 in Beaver Township, Clarion County, she was a daughter of the late Edward H. and Zena Hartzell Hurrelbrink.

     She married Paul A. Eiseman on July 21, 1973 and he preceded her in death on March 25, 2013.

     Martha was a homemaker and worked as a clerk at Uni-Mart, Knox Bakery and the Carriage Inn.

     She loved gardening, flower beds, fish ponds, spending time with family and friends and cooking for all when she was still able.

     Survivors include four children:  Brenda Davis and Boots of Tionesta; Richard Wolfe and Kim of Richland Township; Julie Ditty and Mike Brown of Knox and Paula Eiseman and Robert Fitzpatrick also of Knox; step-son, Paul Eiseman, Jr.; step-daughter, Cheri Coffey and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

     Martha is also survived by two sisters:  Edith Kagle and Marie Bell; three brothers:  Carl Hurrelbrink, Harmon Hurrelbrink and John Hurrelbrink and a son-in-law, Leroy Ditty.

     In addition to her parents and husband, Martha was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathy Wolfe Eiseman; three brothers:  James, Arthur and Charlie and two sisters: Mary and Helen.

     Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1051 Twin Church Road, Knox.

     Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2019 in the church with Reverend Karen Parsh, pastor of the church, officiating.

     Interment will follow in the St. Michael’s Catholic Cemetery in Fryburg.
