Jeanne Rae (McElhattan) Lloyd

      Jeanne Rae Lloyd, age 81, of Knox, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 12, 2018 at UPMC Northwest at Seneca.

     Born September 1, 1937 in Clarion, she was a daughter of the late Ray W. and Laura E. Brothers McElhattan.

      She married Frederick T. Grieff and he preceded her in death in 1973.

     Jeanne retired from Career Link and Green Thumb.

     She attended the Providence United Methodist Church in Knox and loved spending time at the family camp “The Woods”.

      Survivors include a son: Joe Grieff and his wife, Heidi, of Pittsgrove, New Jersey; one daughter, Sandy K. Lieberum of Knox; one sister, Sonya M. Loll of Ashtabula, Ohio; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

      In addition to her parents and husband, Jeanne was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Greg Lieberum; a brother-in-law, William Loll and an infant baby brother, Jimmy.

      Family and friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday, December 14, 2018 and from Noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, December 15, 2018 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.

     A family eulogy will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
