Judith Elaine (Johnston) Shoup

     Judith Elaine Shoup, age 73, of Knox, passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 at the Shippenville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

     Born September 10, 1945 in Elk Township, she was a daughter of the late Leonard C. and Juanita Gale Bullock Johnston.

     She married Frank Kenton Shoup on July 11,1964 and they recently celebrated 55 years of marriage.

     Elaine graduated from Keystone High School and was a homemaker.

     She enjoyed trips to the beach and working with flowers and had worked at the mall flower shop making floral arrangements.

     Survivors include her husband, Frank; one son, Randy Lee Shoup and his wife, Melissa, of Savannah, Georgia; four granddaughters:  Tristen Shoup, Kayla Marquez; Nikkita Hutchinson and Megan Wells.

     She is also survived by eight great grandchildren: Jaxson, Aaden, Killian, Gabriel, Christian, Anthony, Asher and Damian; two brothers Robert and James Johnston and a sister, Patricia Summerville.

     In addition to her parents, Elaine was preceded in death by siblings, Maxine Jeanerette, Georgene Fulton, Retha Wells, Bill Johnston and Harry Johnston.

     At Elaine’s request, there will be no visitation or service.

     Interment will take place in the Cedarview Memorial Park in Strattanville.
