Marvin D. Goughler, formerly of Knox, passed away Friday, April 26, 2019 at Shippenville Healthcare in Shippenville.
Born December 26, 1932, he was a son of the late Edward and Florence Goughler of Emlenton.
On November 5, 1960, in Reynoldsville, he married the former Anna Henneman. She preceded him in death on May 5, 2015.
Marvin was a long-time resident of Knox.
He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and served in Korea. He belonged to the Disabled American Veterans Association; the First Marine Division Association and the Dehart-Rossman-Wenner American Legion Post #997 of Lamartine.
Marvin was employed by Knox Glass until its closing in 1986.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Randy Kiser of McElhattan; two grandsons: Tyler (Randi Whiting) Skiba of Dallas, Texas and Sawyer Skiba of Wassilla, Alaska.
Marvin is also survived by a son-in-law, Kevin Skiba of Anchorage, Alaska.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his children, Brenda and Alan and his brother, Bruce.
The family would like to thank the outstanding staff at Shippenville HealthCare and the Veterans Administration for their kindness and care over many years.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. At that time, military honors will be accorded by the Dehart-Rossman-Wenner American Legion Post #997 of Lamartine.
Interment will take place in the Starr Cemetery in Ninevah.
