Angela Georgeann Schettler

     Angela Georgeann Schettler, age 37 of Pittsburgh and formerly of Shippenville, passed away unexpectedly on Friday evening, July 5, 2024 due to a sudden medical condition.

     Born November 19, 1986 in Oil City, she was the daughter of William J. Schettler, Jr. and Kimberly Thrush Schettler.

     She was a 2004 graduate of North Clarion High School and continued her education at the Hussian College-School of Arts where she earned a BS Degree.

     Angela worked in office operations for Kolbold Instruments, Inc. in Pittsburgh.

     She was a member of the St. Michael Parish in Fryburg.

     Angela loved music, concerts, hockey games, roller blading, boating on the Clarion River and Antiquing.

     Survivors include her parents, Bill and Kim, and brother, Cameron (Amanda) Schettler, all of Shippenville; niece and nephew, Jayden and Colson; paternal grandmother, Barbara F. Schettler of Shippenville; maternal grandmother, Carol Thrush of Cyclone; maternal aunts and uncles: Tamra and Joel Schettler of Vowinkel, Debra and Dudd Tanner of Smethport, and Terry and Sue Thrush of Michigan, and paternal aunts and uncles: Jonette Smerker and Bob and Deb Schettler, all of Shippenville and Jayme and Mike Taylor or Erie.

     Angela is also survived by her many loving cousins and her beloved cats, Cloe, Clarence, Clyde and Chaplin, who are now being lovingly cared for by her cousins, Breanna and Jacqueline.

     She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, William Joseph Schettler and George Thrush.

     Family and friends will be received from 10-11 a.m., Friday, July 12, 2024 at the St. Michael Church, 18765 Route 208, Fryburg.

    A Memorial Mass will be celebrated immediately following, in the church, with Reverend Michael Polinek, parish priest, serving as celebrant.
