Avah May DuBrock, age 15 of Dayton, passed away Sunday evening, April 26, 2026, at her home.
Born March 11, 2011 in Kittanning, she was a daughter of William E. DuBrock and Leah Means Dubrock.
Avah was a miracle baby, always smiling and happy, and that smile would light up the darkest room. Her giggle was amazing.
She loved music and balloons, and any toys that she could shake and make noise with.
Avah will be missed, but lovingly remembered by her parents, William and Leah DuBrock; her two younger sisters, Novah and Ryah DuBrock; her grandmother, Tracy DuBrock; grandparents, Shani and Mike Polka; grandfather, Matt Means; great grandmothers, Margaret Sutter and Ethel Bish, and great grandparents, Laverna and Larry Bish.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, William DuBrock; great grandmother Nellie Lenore Shaffer, and great grandfather, Kenneth Bish.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, May 1, 2026, at the Oakland Church of God, 122 Kohlersburg Road, Distant.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, in the church, with Reverend Jimmy Swogger officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service of New Bethlehem.
