Betty Louise McClintock, age 95 of Emlenton, passed away at UPMC Northwest following a lengthy illness on January 22, 2025.
Born September 4, 1929 at home in Fisher, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Clark and Ella Jane Girts Clark.
Betty married Robert S. McClintock on September 20, 1947, who preceded her in death on February 25, 2001.
She enjoyed woodworking, gardening, bird watching, hunting, and making crafts.
Betty taught CPR, first aid, and EMT classes and volunteered for Emlenton Ambulance, St. Petersburg Ambulance, and Reno Fire Department Ambulance where she was a life member. She was also a member of the Knox Senior citizens, the Dehart-Rossman American Legion in Salem, Monroe Community Club and Richland Grange.
She is survived by a son, Robert L. McClintock and his wife, Nancy, of Reno; grandson, Brad McClintock and his wife, Kristen, of Aliquippa, and a great granddaughter, Madilyn.
In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a son, Chucky; granddaughter, Jennifer, and two sisters, Rosella Fratarcangeli and Marcella Ion.
Family and friends will be received from 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 and 10-11 a.m. Saturday, January 25, 2025 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, in the funeral home, with Pastor Denise Mains officiating.
Interment will follow in the Salem Lutheran Cemetery.
