Cathy Jean (Motter) Schill

     Cathy Jean Schill, age 66 of Tionesta, passed away Wednesday evening, March 12, 2025 at her home following an illness.

     Born May 23, 1958 in Clarion, she was a daughter of the late Arthur Motter and Virginia Mealy Motter Groner.

     She graduated from North Clarion High School in 1976 and continued her education at the Clarion County Career Center becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse.  She retired as an LPN for AseraCare Hospice in November of 2024.

     Cathy married Michael Schill and he preceded her in death in January 2006.

     She attended the Lutheran Church in Venus in her earlier years, and enjoyed crafts, sewing, gardening, stained glass and ceramics.  She also enjoyed feeding birds.

     Survivors include two sons: Brad (Lael) Schill of Venus and Patrick (Nichole) Schill of Cranberry Township; daughter, Megan (T.J.) Stemmerich of Parker, and seven grandchildren: Cazmeria, Krysta, Ellianna, Lucas, Ford, Cameron and Audrina.

     Cathy is also survived by three brothers: Charles (Patti) Motter, Dale Motter and Gary (Julie) Motter; sister, Jodi (Michael) Marshall; half-brother, Matthew Motter; half-sister, Emily Motter, and longtime companion, Douglas Repman.

     In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Karen O’Day, and sister-in-law, Kitty Motter.

      Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Faller/Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 19200 Route 208, Fryburg.

     A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
