Christopher Collett Obituary

Christopher A. Collett, age 72, of Clarion, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2026, after a short battle with cancer. He is the son of Ada F. Collett and the late Victor L. Collett.

Born on July 28, 1953, Christopher was a lifelong resident of the Limestone area.

Christopher is survived by his four siblings: Dennis Collett, of Limestone; Cindi Munsee (Rex) of Frogtown; Willis Collett (Laurie, deceased) of DuBois; and Steve Collett of Devon, Pennsylvania. He is also survived by his beloved nieces and nephews: Cassandra Munsee Beers (Tony) of Limestone; Ross Munsee (Jessica) of Punxsutawney; Kelsey Bauer (Zach) of Phoenixville, Pennsylvania; Kaitlyn Collett of New York City, New York; and Jack Collett of Jersey City, New Jersey. He is further survived by his great-niece and nephew, Victoria and Gabriel Munsee, of Punxsutawney, along with extended family and friends, who were dear to him.

Christopher was a graduate of Clarion-Limestone High School and continued his education at Clarion State College and the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He later worked alongside his brother, Dennis, in his contracting business.

He was co-owner of Col-Mun Farms, with his brother, Dennis; sister, Cindi; and brother-in-law, Rex. Christopher had a deep love for farming and took great pride in working the land. He especially enjoyed baling hay, spending long days outdoors doing the work he cherished.

Though he had no children of his own, he leaves behind a legacy of strength, leadership, and dedication that will not be forgotten by those that loved him.

A private funeral service will be held with Pastor Mike Shreckengost of the Limestone Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Salem Cemetery in Frogtown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Clarion/Forest VNA at 271 Perkins Road, Clarion or the Limestone Fire Company at 9790 Route 66, Clarion.

Arrangements are under the direction to the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service of New Bethlehem.
