Dale Francis Stover

     Dale Francis Stover was born on February 17, 1946 and passed away on November 9, 2025 at the age of 79.

     He spent his childhood in Knox, attended Clarion University earning a degree in chemistry, worked his entire career in the oil industry at the Standard Oil Co., followed by BP America.

     Dale spent most of his adult life as a resident of Chagrin Falls, Ohio.

     Survivors include his daughters: Heather Goldberg and husband, Sidney, and Heidi Provencal and husband, Warren, along with grandchildren, Sadie and Isaac Goldberg.

     Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Clarion and A. Thelma Stover, and his siblings: Blaine Stover, James Stover, Dwight Stover, Cornelius Stover and Jane Hach.

     Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2025 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.

    A service to celebrate the life of Dale will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, 937 Twin Church Road, Knox.  Reverend Ken Tack, pastor of the church, will officiate over the service.

     Interment will follow in the St. Paul’s Union Cemetery.
