Darlene Willison Obituary

     Darlene Willison, age 82 of New Bethlehem, passed away Friday morning, April 17, 2026, at UPMC Montefiore in Pittsburgh.

     Born August 11, 1943, in St. Charles, Armstrong County, she was a daughter of the late Reed Willison and Louise Painter Willison and was a graduate of Redbank Valley High School.

     She worked as a secretary in Washington DC for the CIA and upon returning to the area, took a job with Rola-Jensen in Punxsutawney, followed by the New Bethlehem UniMart and the Distant Village Mart.

     Survivors include a brother, Jon Willison and wife, Barbara, of Front Royal, Virginia, and sister, Sherri Morris and husband, John, of Sligo.

     Darlene is also survived by nieces and nephews: Scott Willison of Front Royal, Virginia; Matt Willison and wife, Lisa, of Oak Ridge; Corey Willison of Clarion; Danny Bish, Chris Morris, Kelly Kriebel and husband, Eric, and Kaitlin Morris, all of Sligo, and great nieces and nephews: Owen, Ethan, Olivia and Emmy Willison; Carter and Crosby Willison; Courtney Reed, Cienna Morris, Hunter Colwell, and Jaxon and Claire Kriebel.

     In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Donna Bish; brothers: Ron Willison and Mike Willison, and niece, Janice McEwan.

    In honoring Darlene’s wishes, there will be no services.

    Arrangements are under the direction of the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service of New Bethlehem.
