Emily (Plumacher) Oppenheimer

     Emily Oppenheimer, age 80, of New Bethlehem, passed away Wednesday evening, July 3, 2024 at Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

     Born June 23, 1944 in Newark, New Jersey, she was a daughter of the late Gus and Sarah Mackey Plumacher.

     She married Ernest Oppenheimer and he preceded her in death on February 3, 2013.

     Emily worked in hanger manufacturing.

     She was Catholic by faith and she loved visiting the amusements parks in New Jersey.

     Survivors include two sons William (Anna) Oppenheimer of New Bethlehem and Wayne (Lisa) Oppenheimer of Ben Salem; daughter, Marie (Tim) Colburn of Georgia; two brothers: Bobbie Plumacher and Ricky Plumacher, and two sisters, Sadie Hucker and Dorothy Plumacher.

     There will be no services.
