Fred Lewis Snell, Jr.

     Fred Lewis Snell, Jr., age 69 of Tionesta, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday morning, June 21, 2025. He was born April 6, 1956 in Oil City, son of the late Fred Snell, Sr. and Patricia Snell.

      He grew up in Tionesta where he was an active member of the community, business owner and beloved friend. Fred was always the first person to help when called upon and will be remembered for his positive outlook on life (and his infectious laugh). He was an avid hunter, fisherman and an all-around outdoorsman. 

      Fred is survived by his wife Connie and his children, Jessica Alexander of Aldie, VA, Ashley Duran (Alex) of Aldie, VA and Sarah Reed (Daniel) of Greeley, CO. He is forever remembered by his four grandchildren, Lily, Camila, Landon and Ryan. He is also survived by his siblings; brother Ted Snell (Shellie) of Canton, GA and sisters Debra (Jeff) Houck of Port Charlotte, FL and Kerri Larson of New Caney, TX.

      He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Eddie and brother Kyle.

      No service will be held; a celebration of life will be planned for a later date.
