Freda Mae Anderson, of Knox, passed away Thursday morning, November 21, 2024 at the Clarion Hospital.
Born July 23, 1936 in Oil City, she was a daughter of the late Eugene W. Miller and Agnes Goughler Miller.
Freda married Vaughn “Tike” Gruber who preceded her in death in 2004.
She then married Alvin Anderson on 11-14-09 who also preceded her in death in 2019.
She was a 1954 graduate of Keystone High School and was a former member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Fern. Freda was an EMT for 15 years for Knox Ambulence.
Freda worked as a bank teller for First Seneca Bank and then as a clerk for H.B Beels & Son Inc. in Knox. She enjoyed quilting, knitting, and crocheting.
She is survived by her One daughter: Lisa (Glenn) Brown of San Antonio, TX, and One Brother: Dr. Keith Miller.
Also survived by Five grandchildren: Kyle Joseph (Nozomi) DeDionisio, Adam Michael (Jackie) DeDionsio , Lauren Elizabeth (Ted) Rau, Alexandra Brown, Mia Brown. Four Great Grandchildren: Brody, Reo, Anri, Leonardo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by both husbands, a daughter: Marilyn, and a son in law: Raymond DeDionisio.
Family and friends will be received from 10 a.m - 12 p.m. Tuesday, November 26, 2024 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.
Funeral services will immediately follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Don Pflugh officiating. Internment will take place at the Starr Cemetery.
