James B Lewis

     James B. Lewis, age 88, of Knox, passed away Friday morning, December 14, 2018 at the Shippenville Care Center.

     Born November 15, 1930 in Pine City, Clarion County, he was a son of the late Howard W. and Mae Bashline Lewis.

     He attended the Pine City Schools and retired from Knox Glass.

     Jim attended the Bethany Crossroads Evangelical Congregational Church in Knox.

     Survivors include his significant other, Darlene McElhattan; one brother, Dean Lewis and his wife, Althea, of Fern and one sister, Winnie Mae Hook of Knox and numerous nieces and nephews.

     In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by four brothers: Paul Lewis, Howard L. Lewis, Steve D. Lewis and John Lewis and two sisters, Pauline Kapp and Ruth Confer.

     Reverend Travis Earp will officiate over private family services at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc. of Knox on Sunday, December 16, 2018.

     Interment will take place in the Perry Chapel Cemetery at Pine City.

     Memorial contributions may be given in the name of James B. Lewis to the Bethany Crossroads Evangelical Congregational Church, 721 Crossroads Church Drive, Knox, PA  16232 or the Pine City Community Center, 2713 Pine City Road, Shippenville, PA 16254.
