Katharine J (Kiser) Burton

     Katharine J. Burton, age 78 of Fairmount City, passed away Monday morning, January 27, 2025, at her home after being stricken with a sudden illness.

     Born February 22, 1946 in Tampa, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Robert A. Kiser and Mildred V. Bauer Kiser.

     She was a graduate of Plum Senior High School and continued her education in surveying at a trade school in Monroeville.

     Katharine married James E. Burton Jr. and he survives.

     She worked for Turner Dairy for 38 years.

     In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Barbara J. Burton of Fairmount City, and two grandchildren: Brian Holmes, Jr. (Krystal) of Glenshaw and Robert V. Kephart of Fairmount City.

     No services are scheduled at this time but a memorial service will be held at a later date.
