Lakota Jean Snyder, age 1 month, passed away unexpectedly at Penn Highlands-DuBois Hospital early Sunday morning October 1, 2023.
Born August 29, 2023 at the Punxsutawney Hospital, she was the daughter of Graham Snyder and Britany Hoover of DuBois.
Lakota leaves behind her parents, Graham and Britney; brothers, Liam and Layden Snyder and sisters, Livian and Laliee Snyder, all at home; paternal grandmother, Wendy Snyder of New Bethlehem; maternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Shelby and Bernie Schwab of Rimersburg; paternal great grandmother, Rosalie Shaffer of New Bethlehem, and maternal great grandparents, Phyllis Johnson, and Rae Hoover and Tom, all of Rimersburg.
She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Lakota was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lilliauna Grace Snyder; paternal grandfather, Dan Snyder; maternal great grandfather, John Johnson; paternal great grandparents, Homer Shaffer and Jack and Louise Snyder, and an infant uncle, Cory Snyder.
There will be no calling hours.
Private family services will be held with Reverend Tom Kelly officiating.
Interment will take place in the Sligo Cemetery.
