Margie Ann Shick, age 80 of Knox, passed away on Thursday, June 4, 2026 at UPMC Passavant.
Born October 19, 1945 in Beulah, North Dakota, she was a daughter of the late Samuel Flemmer and Edna Hinsz Flemmer. She grew up in Golden Valley, North Dakota and graduated as the valedictorian of her high school class.
Marge was a veteran of the United States Army. She received the Good Conduct Award. While in the Army she met and married the late Paul Shick.
She worked at National City Bank in Knox for 18 years and retired after 25 years with Colony Homes.
Marge was a member of the Berlin-Bowser American Legion Post #720 of Knox and enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre. She loved her flowers, her friends, and the Steelers.
Survivors include her son, Blaine Shick and his wife, Kelli, of Fern; the loves of her life, her grandchildren, Tylyne (Sam) of Brookville and Brayden (Sarah) of Georgetown, Kentucky, and great granddaughter, Amelia.
Marge is also survived by a sister, Sharon Wolff (Terry) of Golden Oak, North Dakota and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Arley Flemmer and his wife, Lynnette.
Family and friends will be received from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.
Military Honors will be accorded at 11 a.m., Thursday, June 11, 2026 at the funeral home by the Berlin-Bowser American Legion Post #720 of Knox.
A funeral service will immediately follow, in the funeral home, with Reverend Wade Barto officiating.
