     Michael L. Pall, age 75 of New Bethlehem, passed away early Wednesday morning, May 29, 2024 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital following a sudden illness.

     Born February 8, 1949 in Blairsville, Indiana County, he was a son of the late Ferdinand Pall and Leone Snyder Pall.

     He graduated from Warren High School in 1967 and joined the United States Air Force.

     Mike was honorably discharged in December of 1971 and continued his education at Penn State University, graduating from the College of Agriculture in 1975.

     He retired from PennDOT as a bridge draftsman.

     On June 23, 1984, Mike married the former Joyce Wetzel, and she survives along with two daughters: Lesli Bennett and husband David,  and Tamela Smith and husband Steve; grandchildren: Ashley Palmer, David “DJ” Bennett, Nicholas Smith and Brooke Smith, and great grandchildren: Annabelle Palmer, Avery Palmer and Lyle “LJ” Bennett.

     Mike is also survived by his brother, Andrew Pall, and numerous cousins.

     He was a member of the American Legion, VFW and Moose and enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, boating and gardening.

     Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2024 at the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service chapel, 233 Penn Street, New Bethlehem.

     Interment will take place in the Mt. Zion Cemetery on Beautiful Lookout.
