Robert George Bellesfield, Jr., age 72 of Rimersburg, passed away Monday evening, March 9, 2026, at Butler Memorial Hospital, following an illness.
Born September 7, 1953, in Clarion, he was a son of the late Robert George Bellesfield, Sr. and Alice M. Buzard Bellesfield. He was a graduate of Union High School.
Robert worked for Crawford Furniture for 27 years until it’s closing, then working for Palo Construction until becoming disabled.
He loved spending time with his grandchildren, browsing on Facebook, and his dog, Midnight, and liked to hunt and fish.
Robert is survived by two daughters: Amy (Billy) Burk of Sligo and Amber Bellesfield of Rimersburg, and four grandchildren: Skylar Bellesfield, Hailey Burk, Dakota Burk and Brooklyn Burk.
He is also survived by his brother, Dan (Connie) Bellesfield; sisters: Pam White (Terry), Helen Neiswonger (Erin), Kim Carl, Sis Pago and Dorothy Runyan, and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by a son, Robert Bellesfield, III; brothers, Kevin, Roland and John, and nephew, Andy Pago.
Family and friends will be received from 3-6 p.m. Monday March 16, 2026, at the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service chapel, 233 Penn Street, New Bethlehem.
Funeral services will follow at 6 p.m., Monday, in the funeral chapel.
Interment will take place in the Squirrel Hill Cemetery in Porter Township, Clarion County.
