Robert E. Weeter, age 85 of Knox, passed away Thursday evening, January 22, 2026 at Allegheny General Hospital.
Born November 24, 1940 in Lamartine, he was a son of the late Reuben Miles Weeter and Lois Mae Switzer Weeter.
He was a graduate of Keystone High School and a veteran of the United States Army.
Bob was a machinist, working for Anchor Glass, Owen-Illinois, and retiring from Joy Manufacturing.
He married the former Ellen May Smith on October 4, 1963 and she survives.
Bob was a woodworker and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and going to camp.
Survivors include his wife, Ellen; son, Kalen (Tammy) Weeter of Little River, South Carolina and Cara (James) Corona of Pittsburgh; grandchildren: Deven (A.J.) Carroll of Pittsburgh and Peyton Corona of Louisville, Kentucky, and sister, Sally (John) Mason of Knox.
Bob is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson, Hunter, and sisters, Shirley Gruber and June Frye.
In honoring Bob’s request, there will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
