Robert "Dick" A. Barr

     Robert A. “Dick” Barr, age 76 of Distant, passed away Sunday evening, April 13, 2025 at Kittanning Care and Rehabilitation Center.

     Born July 14, 1948 in Brookville, he was the son of the late Burt Barr and Geraldine Wiant Barr.

    He married the former Debra Barnett in 1980 and she preceded him in death on September 3, 2020.

     Dick was a graduate of Redbank Valley High School and worked as a welder for Charles Machine.

     He was a member of the Distant Volunteer Fire Department.

     Survivors include sons: Robert Barr III of Distant, Jason Barr of Clarion and Sean Schoeffel of Sharon; daughter, Keli Schoeffel of Washington, and grandchildren: Chrissa Potter, Jase Barr, Avery Schoeffel and Shawnee Dolby.

    Dick is also survived by his sister, Marty Horne, of Distant.

    There will be no services.
