Robin Francis Banner

     Robin “Bird” Francis Banner, age 63 of Venus, passed away unexpectedly on June 18, 2025 at his home.

     He was born in Oil City Hospital on July 9, 1961 and was the son of Catherine Hutchinson Bell of Marble and the late Edward Banner.

    Bird graduated from North Clarion High School and was a member of the Fryburg Sportsman's Club.

     He owned and operated Banner Plumbing and Electric, where his motto was “Work will set you free”.

     In addition to his mother, Bird is survived by two siblings: Diane Whitton of Marble and Kevin Banner of Venus, and four nephews: Jesse Whitton, Billy (Gemma) Whitton, Nick Banner and Nate Banner.

     Family and friends will be received from 4-7 p.m., Monday, June 23, 2025 at the Faller/Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 19200 Rt. 208, Fryburg.

     Funeral services will immediately follow at 7 p.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Cindy Duffee, officiating.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Robin’s name to the Pinegrove Township Vol. Fire Department, 2369 PA-157, Oil City, PA 16364
