Rodger L. Schreckengost, age 67 of Seminole, passed away on Friday, August 22, 2025 at the Butler Memorial Hospital due to an extended illness.
He was born in Kittanning on January 31, 1958 to the late Ardo and Helen Schreckengost. On September 12, 1981 he married the former Mary Termine.
Rodger retired as a wildlife propagator at the PA Game Commission Southwest Game Farm. He was a member of the Oakland Church of God and was an avid fisherman, loved his music and traveling.
Rodger is survived by his wife; three children: Michelle (Russ) Doverspike of Eddyville, Patricia (Justin) Lee of Cincinnati, OH, and Matthew (Holly) Schreckengost of Brookville; three grandchildren: Damien, Danica, and Erin; a brother, Mike (Deb) Schreckengost of Fairmount City; a sister Donna (Gary) Rosenberger of Dubois; and many nieces and nephews.
Rodger was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Janet Senard.
At the request of the family, no service will be held at this time.
Interment will take place in the Oakland Cemetery in Distant.
