Ronald Emhoff Obituary

 Ronald Emhoff, 83, a resident of Knox, passed away early Wednesday morning, October 2, 2024 at his home following a lengthy illness.

     Born April 11, 1942, in Grove City, Mercer County, he was the son of the late John William Emhoff and Edna Stover Emhoff.

     Ron is survived by his wife Joan Chadman Emhoff, whom he married on June 1, 1962.

     He worked at the Knox glass plant as a maintenance worker, until retirement when the plant closed, and was a member of the St. Paul’s United Church of Christ.

    Ron was a member of the Edenburg Masonic Lodge and the Knox Vol. Fire Department, he enjoyed bowling, watching NASCAR, and the Steelers. He loved local dirt track races and working on cars.  

       Surviving are his two children:  Rick Emhoff and his wife Norlene of Florida, and Marcy Green and her husband Jeff of Ohio.

     Ronald is also survived by five grandchildren: Vincent Latess, Arianna Latess-Beatty, Anthony Latess, Caitlin Emhoff, and Zach Emhoff.

     Also surviving are three great grandchildren: Marlee Beatty, Hallie Beatty, and Baby Beatty due in December.

      In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his sister Peg Hankins and her husband Sam Hankins.

     Family and friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2024 at the William N. Rupert Mortuary, Inc., 430 Mendenhall Avenue, Knox.
