Russell Henry O'Day

     Russell Henry O’Day, 68 of Venus, passed away on March 18, 2026.

     Born July 29, 1957, in Oil City, he was a son of the late John O’Day and Beatrice Johnson O’Day.

     Russell was a beloved father, grandfather, and brother. He worked in the trucking industry for over 45 years.

     He was known for being a selfless, goodhearted, hard-working man who valued quality time with his children.

     Survivors include his former wife, Connie McLaughlin (Beary); his children: Carrie O’Day, Shannon Daubenspeck, Megan O’Day, and Brandon O’Day; grandchildren: Aaron Chatley, Cassie Chatley, and Briley O’Day; great grandchildren: Aaliyah and Avani Chatley, and brothers, Steven, Randy and Johnny O’Day.

      In addition to his parents, Russell was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Breana Chatley.

      Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, March 23, 2026, at the Faller/Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 19200 Route 208, Fryburg.

      Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2026. Reverend Jeff Piccirilli will officiate over the services.

     Interment will follow in the Venus Cemetery.
