Shirley Marie DeLoe

Shirley Marie DeLoe, age 86, formerly of Venus and Turkey City, passed away Friday August 8, 2025 at UPMC Northwest at Seneca.

Born in Venus on January 20, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Frank Lloyd Glas and Florence Montaque Glas.

Shirley worked as a caretaker for people in their homes and was a former member of the Turkey City Church of God.

She enjoyed puzzles and candy, and in her earlier days, she also enjoyed gardening and flowers.

Shirley is survived by four children:  Charles E. (JoAnn) DeLoe of Irwin, Renee (Donald) Vest of Alabama, James (Diane) DeLoe of Parker, and Wade N. DeLoe of Chester; 10 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters: Doris McCauley of Venus and Mary Lou McCalmont of Harrisville.

She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant grandchild, and siblings William Glas and Geraldine Burdett.

 Per her request, there will be no visitation.

A graveside service will be held at noon, Monday August 11, 2025 in the Venus Cemetery with Reverend Jeffrey Piccirilli, officiating.
