Suzanne (Suzi) Sandrock Siegel, 76, a resident of Shippenville Healthcare and Rehab and formerly of Venus, PA, gained her angel wings on August 22, 2024 after a period of declining health and a long battle with Dementia.
Suzi married Francis (Pete) Siegel on January 28, 1967, in St. Stephen Church, Oil City, and he preceded her in death on May 6, 2002. Also preceding her in death were her Parents, Clyde and Melba Sandrock, Sister, Wanda Ames, Daughter, Tina Kean, and Infant Son, Joel Siegel.
Loved ones left to cherish her memory are her Brothers, Tom (Patty) Sandrock, Ted (Linda) Sandrock, and Todd (Laurie) Sandrock, her Children, Kuff (Donna) Siegel of Limestone, and Craig (Ashley) Siegel of Fryburg, her Grandchildren, Ryne, Raegan, and Riley Kean, Hayden Siegel, and Chaise Siegel, and one Great Granddaughter, Kinsley Kean, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Suzi attended the United Evangelical Church in Venus and could always be seen singing in the Church choir, attending Sunday School, or helping with Awana. She was employed by UPMC as a Secretary to Dr. Dixon and Dr. Hope until her retirement in 2018.
Suzi was a two-time Cancer survivor who was fiercely independent. She had a heart of gold and was always showing her kindness to others. She was an avid sports fan always watching the Pirates, Steelers, and Penguins. Her favorite Steeler of all time was Heath Miller. For many years, you could find Pete and Suzi at the softball fields watching her boys.
The family would like to extend their gratitude to the wonderful Nursing Staff at Shippenville Healthcare and Rehab for the exceptional care given to Suzi during her extended stay.
