Tom passed peacefully at Hamot Hospital in Erie on September 16th with dear friends and family by his side, after years of declining health due to MS. He was born in Youngstown, Ohio to Ralph and Betty Jane Wilson Mould on March 23, 1952.
Tom attended Liberty High School in Liberty Township, Ohio. He graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania and obtained his master’s degree in education. He taught in Ohio for several years prior to moving to the Knox area where he began his longtime teaching career at Keystone Elementary School. He excelled as a reading teacher and encouraged his students to draw their own conclusions from stories and to think for themselves. He was the junior high girls’ basketball coach and time keeper for many years.
Tom loved his little house in the woods and declared himself “the luckiest man in the world.” He was very appreciative of neighbors and staff who helped him to remain at home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, step father, William Holcomb, and favorite cousin, Brenda Harmon.
He is survived by his sister, Nancy Nye, from Struthers, Ohio, numerous cousins and nieces and nephews.
Also left to remember him are Doug and Kim Harmon, Mark and Kathy Baker, staff and colleagues from Keystone Elementary School and longtime friends, Josh Furko, Ken and Sarah Busseletti, and Stewart and Becca Day.

A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date.
