Verna Lee Foringer, age 81, of New Bethlehem, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday morning, August 10th, 2024, at the Independence Health Center in Clarion.
Born July 17th, 1943, in Putneyville, Armstrong County, she was daughter of the late John G. Milliron and Edith Mae Rupp Weaver.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, playing the lottery and feeding her grand dogs. She loved to sit and look at pictures with her grandkids and talk about their accomplishments and future.
Verna Lee is survived by two sons, Gregory Foringer and wife Heather; Michael “Todd” Foringer and wife Katie, daughter Brenda Snyder and her husband Jeff, all of New Bethlehem, a daughter-in-law Kari Johnston of Valley City, Ohio; Grandchildren Casey Lopez, Lyndsey Foringer, Ian Foringer, Michael Foringer, Justin Foringer, Rosalee Foringer and Blake Foringer, Brooke Snyder, McKenzi Snyder, Dylan Hornberger and Reese Shaffer and 7 great grandchildren.
She is also survived by two sisters Esther Mae (Tony) Villella of Punxsutawney and Betty (Dave) Eshbaugh of Kingsville. Three sisters-in-laws, Janet, Yvonne and Carol Foringer.
Verna Lee was preceded in death by her husband, her soulmate, Richard M. Foringer on March 14th,2015, whom she married on September 1st, 1962, a son Richard M. Foringer Jr. on September 23rd, 1991, her parents John G. Milliron, Edith (Rupp) and Harold Weaver two sisters, Lois Himes and Shirley Orcutt, mother -in-law Alice Foringer, 5 brothers-in-law; Ron, Don and Gary “Butch” Foringer, Barry Orcutt and William “Bill” Himes.
As per Verna Lee’s request, no funeral services will be held.
Interment will follow in the McCrea’s Furnace Cemetery in Armstrong County.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service of New Bethlehem.
