Vincent Wagner “Junior” Riley, age 90 of Tionesta, passed away at his home on Monday March 3, 2025.
Born May 16, 1934, in Strattanville, he was the son of Luella and Vincent Wagner. Due to his parents’ death early in his life, Junior was adopted by his grandparents, Alice and Charles Riley.
He was a 1954 graduate of North Clarion High School.
Junior was employed as a milk delivery driver for Walkers Dairy and later worked for 25 years as a welder at Joy Manufacturing and retired from there in 1999. After retiring he enjoyed going to bluegrass concerts and being the taxi for his Amish friends and neighbors. He also could be found at home glued to the television watching Gunsmoke marathons and documentaries on tractors.
He was married June 8, 1957 to the former Donna Jean Daum, who preceded him in death on October 31, 2002.
Junior is survived by a daughter, Sharon Riley; grandson JJ Riley and his wife Crystal, and granddaughter, Courtney Hull, all of Oil City.
In addition to his wife and parents, Junior was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen (Riley) Nadolny; nephew, Greg Daum, and a sister-in-law, Jane Daum.
Junior was also preceded in death by his sisters: Ester Hoover, Arabelle Masters, Estella Riley and Zelma (Arlene) Heath, and brothers: Leslie Riley and Charles Kiser.
Anyone knowing Junior, knew he wasn’t a man that wanted to be a bother to anyone or to be the center of attention, so to honor his wishes there will be no visitation or funeral.
Interment will take place in the Dehner Cemetery in Tionesta.
