Walter E. Schill

Walter E. Schill, age 68 of Fryburg, Passed away at Clarion Hospital on July 28, 2025 following a lengthy illness. He had been a resident of Snyder Memorial Home in Marienville the past 12 years.

He was born February 3, 1957 in Oil City, he was the son of the late Walter Schill and Barbara Jean Ochs Schill.

Walter was a boiler maker by trade, until his disability. He graduated from North Clarion Highschool in 1975. 

He was a former member of the St. Michael’s Church in Fryburg. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, trapping, trips to the Indian reservation, and spending time with his family.

Walter is survived by his children, Corey (Jamie Denslinger) Schill of Fryburg, Deanna D. Schill of Shippenville and (Garrett Goheen). Nine grandchildren; Dakota, Paige, Mason, Paris, Madison, Camie, Blake, Jordan, Cianna; Seven Great-Grandchildren; Brayden, Nala, Brianna, Keith Jr., Navy, Caden, and Lyla.

Also Surviving, one Sister; Barbara (Gary) Seitz of Venus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother; Robert Schill.

Per the family’s request, private family services will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Faller/Rupert Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Fryburg.
