Wilma J. (Sollinger) Wolfe

    Wilma J. Wolfe, age 88 of Knox, passed away Wednesday evening, May 8, 2024 at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.

     Born April 29, 1936 in Emlenton, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Dorothy Teetsworth Sollinger.

     She married James Donald Wolfe and he preceded her in death in 1992.

     Wilma retired from Clarview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center where she was a caregiver.

     She was a member of Chapel on the Hill in Emlenton, did missionary work in Romania, making many trips and helping to build an orphanage.

   Wilma loved caring for people, camping, needlework, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.

     Survivors include her son, John S. Wolfe (Kathy) of Brookville; two daughters: Penny Sue Wolfe of Strattanville and Kim Grossman (Brian) of Harrisville; six grandchildren: Nathan Wolfe (Stacy), Julie Stamler (Jay), Dennis Pranevich (Nickia), Joe Pranevich (Dorrie), Andy Grossman (Katie) and Keith Grossman.

     Wilma is also survived by 11 great grandchildren: Jennings, Geneva, Dalton, Cole, Miranda, Tucker, Sam, Abram, Mason, Emma and Kayden, and a daughter-in-law, Melva Wolfe.

     In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald J. Wolfe; grandson, Christopher; granddaughter, Amber; brother, James and sisters, Virginia, Betty and Janice.

     Family and friends will be received from Noon to 2 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2024 at Chapel on the Hill, 6202 Emlenton-Clintonville Road, Emlenton.

    Funeral services will be held in the church at 2 p.m. Monday with Pastor Chris Clark and Pastor Tim Farkas officiating.

     Interment will follow in the Emlenton Cemetery.
